After reaching a pretty high follower count on my Twitter account ( @siddharth_in ) , here i am revealing what all i did to get those huge no. of followers in a short span.

1. Time matters a lot

First of all, make sure you have got enough time to spend on twitter. I used to spend at-least 3 hrs a day on twitter.

2. Have a Complete Profile

Complete your Twitter profile with a good looking Customized Background and with your own profile picture ( that makes you a real person )

3. Be Active

Reply to all your @mentions as soon as possible. If you are busy, favorite the tweet so that you can respond to them later.

Dont forget to look into your Inbox and reply to your messagesas well !

Always have a look on the trending topics and Retweet the important ones or tweet something relevant o that topic, so that many people view your tweets ( high possibilities to get RT\’s if its good ).

4. Share your Knowledge

Share your knowledge with your followers , also try to help people when they ask for some help, always have an eye on your followers tweets.

# Re-tweet important or some interesting tweets ( atleast 10/day )

5. Don’t automate feeds

Never automate your tweets as it makes people to think of you as a spammer. If u still want to feed twitter with RSS, make sure that you send very less no. of automated feeds.

6. Bulk Follow :

This is the most important part for getting huge no. of followers in a short span ( yet most of them are not real ) . Do this only if you need lots of follower counts and not actually real followers.

If your Twitter account doesn\’t want to be suspended, follow these steps.

# Use the tool Tweepi to Bulk Folllow/Unfollow/Reciprocate ( best of my Choice )

# In my experience, Don\’t follow/Unfollow more than 300 people / day ( Normal follower limit by twitter is 1000/ day ), This is because if you are using lots of twitter clients, they might consume much of your API requests, so it might show you fail Whale often !

# Continue to bulk follow/unfollow people every 2 days once.

7. TFF ( Twitter Follower-Friend ) Ratio

Make sure you have got a TFF Ratio greater than or equal to 1 . This plays a vital role in twitter, allowing you to follow large no. of people ( more than 1000/day ) , if you have got a good TFF Ratio.
