Check your Own Mobile Number (all Operators)

July 29, 2015 by Siddharth Leave a Comment

Checking your own mobile number becomes important in many occasions. In these days when we maintain more than one SIM to serve various needs, keeping in mind all the numbers always might be difficult. It has become quite common for the users to use SIM from one operator only for texting because it is offering the best deals in texting packages and another SIM from another operator for Internet surfing, which is the best in the class. Having separate numbers for professional and personal life is also quite common nowadays. So, being not able to remember the number of a particular SIM at a given moment is not a very rare incident. In these situations, we are usually left with only one option that is to call up a friend or a family member asking your own number, which you might not actually like to do. So, here is the simplest way to check your own mobile number right from your mobile.

USSD codes for finding your mobile number

Every operator uses some verification codes termed as USSD codes for sending you back the number of your mobile. When you want to know the number of a particular SIM in your mobile, go to the SIM, punch the dedicated numbers for that particular carrier and your mobile number will show up on the screen.

For some of the carriers you only need to open the dialer of your phone, type in the codes and automatically the number of the SIM will flash up on the screen. For some other carriers you might need to hit the call button after typing the code. Once you have done that, a small window with your number will pop up on the screen; and you might need to click the “OK” button on the window to make it disappear after you have noted down the number.

The best thing about using these codes to check your own mobile number is that, this service is provided completely free of cost by every operator. So, you will not be spending even a single dime in the process. Here are the cods for various operators for your help:
