LG G3 – Recent Leaks & More Rumors

January 3, 2024 by Siddharth 1 Comment

LG, the leading manufacturer always surprised us with their top-notch flagship smartphones. Every year, they release two flagship smartphones to keep up with the ongoing market. Though, they don’t own huge market share like Apple or Samsung, they try to implement every possible way to satisfy their customers. It’s been a while since we got an update from LG about their flagship LG G2 which was unveiled a few months before. Now, we’re finding quite a number of rumors and leaks circling around the release of LG G3. To make this more interesting, we heard, it’s going to get released in 27th of this instance. How amazing is that? Let’s talk about the leaks and recent rumors about LG G3.

lg g3 rumors

Display & Design

There’s no doubt about the great design and build quality of LG. Recent leaked images of the back part of LG G3 suggest that LG G3 might get a larger screen compared to its predecessor. Plus, it’s pretty evident that the back part of LG G2 is going to replace and metal shades are going to take places instead of plastic finish. It seems like LG got the drift what customers actually want their phones to look like and they provided Aluminum finish to the back side and some parts of the front side to give it a glossy outlook.
According to the leaks, LG G3 is going to boast a larger 5.5-inch True HD-IPS LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Plus, the pixel density is going to top the roof with 534 ppi.

Camera Performance

LG has kept premium quality in the camera lens to provide more vivid lights into the camera and provide better pictures. Also, they’ve included better sensors for the camera to collect greater depth of data and increased sampling rate in low-light shots. The primary camera is equipped with 13MP shooter and the secondary camera is capable of 2.1MP but both of them have the capability to record 1080p videos. According to numerous rumors, LG G3 will enable the users to record in 4k resolution.

Specs Chart

With flagship smartphone, one can’t just deny the fact that they’re going to bring industry-leading hardware to their devices. There’ll be two variants of LG G3. One will come with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. This will probably be available in lower price range. The other variant will come with 32GB onboard memory and 3GB RAM. Both of them will be equipped with powerful Snapdragon 801 SoC with a Krait 400 Quad-Core processor clocked at 2.26GHz. Adreno 330 GPU unit will be bundled to provide stunning graphics performance.

Battery Life

LG smartphones struggled with their OS and battery life. LG G2 felt far better than its predecessor due to the fact that it was well-optimized and more power-efficient. We’d like LG to take this up a notch and bring more battery life into LG G3.
We’re still on the dark about the official update of LG G3. The leaks appeared true on numerous news sites like TechRadar, CNet and Geek.com. So, we might need to buckle up for the release of LG G3 anytime soon.
