Search Google, Bing, Yahoo and Twitter on your Gtalk

You can now Search anything on Twitter, Google , Yahoo & Bing from your IM , just by adding the bot !

Sbot supports live search on Google, Bing, Yahoo & Twitter .

Just add Sbot as your buddy on Gtalk/Y! Messenger/Live Messenger & start Searching right from your IM !!

Here is the list of IM ‘s and the respective bots to be added to your IM.

Google Talk – sbot@bot.im
Yahoo Messenger – searchbot@ymail.com
MSN Live Messenger – searchbot@live.com

Once Sbot is added to your IM, Start your favorite search on IM.

To start, send “help” & bot responds with the usage instructions.

* To perform Google search send g<space>search term
* To perform Bing search send b<space>search term
* To perform Yahoo search send y<space>search term
* To perform Twitter search send t<space>search term

A really great usage of Sbot is in Twitter Search !!

Tip

You can also use Sbot to check @mentions of your twitter profile,

why not, you can even search others @mentions right from your IM,

just by sending a message like “t @siddharth_in” .

    This Google bot is so cool..

    I am surely going to use it..There is one more service called Scour.com which allows the same function i.e searching all the 3 major search engines at one place..
