iOS8 has been the biggest release with lots of features in the Apple’s history. Apple has taken mobiles to the next generation with iOS8 along with its recently launched iPhone 6 & 6Plus which has enormous processing power with desktop like architecture with a very eye catching design that comes with smooth corners, making it more easy to handle for long hours.

Noteworthy iOS 8 Features List:

Continuity: With Continuity, if you get a call on your iPhone while you’re using your MacBook or iMac, you will get an option to answer the call in your Mac or if you are editing a document on your iPhone, or iPad, it will automatically appear in your Mac when you turn it on. This is an awesome option and you need OS X Yosemite to get this working.

Hide Photos: This is the coolest option in iOS 8, now you can hide your personal photos which are not to be displayed in your albums. Hide those photos with the hidden option which is on the top of the screen by tapping the selected photo. The photos that you’ve been hided, those are not going to appear anywhere else in the phone.

Scan Credit Card Numbers: Scanning Credit Card numbers is now super simple with iOS8. If you don’t want to mess with typing the credit card number every time you order anything online. Now, you have an option to snap a photo of your credit card, rest of the work will be done by the iPhone.

Battery Usage: It was a most awaited feature as older versions of iPhone battery life is not that good as expected. Now you can track which app kills much of your Battery and which not and so you can organize a way better. Find all the statistics of your battery usage since your iPhone is turned ON.

Camera Enhancements: You can now make a picture darken or brighten using the exposure, which is super easy to use. you need to just drag the sun icon next to focus square and adjust the exposure. This feature does exists in all mobiles, but using in iOS8 is much better than the rest, combined with other features in Camera.

Hey Siri: This is one of the coolest options in iOS 8. Hey Siri will be so helpful to iPhone users when you are driving or working by placing the iPhone in Charge. You have to just say “Hey Siri”, and this will invoke SIRI to respond o your commands. you can make a call, listen to selected songs or ask for some help to SIRI with this.

Notifications: Now you can give instant replies or emails with notification center, which is very much improved. Just swiping to the left side, you can interact with notifications.

Family Sharing: It was a long Awaited feature as many people had complained that they’re unable to use multiple devices with their kids and family. Apple provides family sharing option to the multi-device holders of the iPhone in the same family. They’ve put some age limitations on Apple ID’s. Now you can easily make an ID for the children aged fewer than 13 linking it to the adult. The only thing you have to enable is the family sharing option. If your child goes to buy any Apple product in store, it gives the approval message to you. Also, a single purchase on one device can be shared across multiple devices in a particular family.

Find my iPhone: As you know, if you have your iPhone or iPad, synced with iCloud, it gives the exact location of your missing iPhone of last seen, even if the battery is drained out. iCloud carries the information just for only 24 hours, once the device has moved offline. This might sound odd, but however, if you miss your devices i’m sure you’ll come to know about it in less than a hour, which makes sense.
