3 Simple Reasons Why ExpressVPN Is the Best VPN on the Market

November 20, 2015 by Siddharth 5 Comments

I’ve tried a bunch of VPNs in my time. My line of work means I’m constantly traveling from place to place, and having a secure VPN is essential. I don’t want just an ordinary, run-of-the-mill VPN that may or may not leak my IP. I want a VPN I can trust. That’s why I choose ExpressVPN. Their sterling reputation and loads of positive reviews were the bump I needed, plus the 30-day money-back guarantee was another nice little incentive. Anyway, after using the service for a few months, I thought I’d share my thoughts.

Here are my top three reasons why ExpressVPN gives you the most bang for you buck.

#1 ExpressVPN really value your privacy

The best thing about ExpressVPN is that they offer peace of mind. They’re probably the most private VPN out there. They don’t keep logs, and they never monitor their networks. ExpressVPN uses 256-bit security to help encrypt your traffic. They also use OpenVPN as their default protocol and offer different protocol options for faster speeds. They only require an email address, and you can even pay with Bitcoin.

At a little over $12 a month, ExpressVPN is slightly more expensive than its competitors. I have absolutely paying a little more per month knowing my information is secure. They also offer discounted packages when you sign up for longer periods.

#2 Their apps are convenient and easy to use.

One of the best things about ExpressVPN is its ability to accommodate different apps simultaneously. I have it installed on my iOS and iPad, and it works like a charm. They have servers in more than 100 cities, so you’ll never have an issue finding a good connection. For reference, they’re probably the fifth biggest VPN server provider, with Vyper and Hide My Ass being the first two.

The lower number of servers actually doesn’t bother me, since in all honestly I’ll probably never use 98% of the servers. What they succeed in here are their server speeds. ExpressVPN offers different protocol options and they even have a speed test to help you check which servers are the best and fastest in your area. Do other VPN services have that? Nope.

#3 Their customer service is by far the best.

Last but not least, their customer service is on point. Unlike other VPN providers, there customer support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They’re extremely helpful and are always patient. I’ve had to have an issue they weren’t able to solve in minutes.

There are also tons of helpful tutorials on the site complete with step-by-step screenshots and videos to help get started. You won’t need them, though; installation is easy and connecting to any server of your choice is only one click away. Some of their apps even offer speed tests to help you connect to the best servers in your area.

All in all, ExpressVPN meets my top 3 needs: It’s secure, it’s easy to use, and the support staff are helpful, reliable, and friendly. I highly recommend it.
