It’s almost that time again. Every four years, our great nation is united in hope and passion for the beautiful game as England take part in the UEFA European Championships. After failing to qualify for the last tournament in 2008 under embarrassing circumstances, all of us are desperate for Wayne Rooney and company to make a real impact at this year’s tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
To be sure that you don’t miss a single goal this summer, why not invest in a new TV? For starters, if you haven’t experienced football in high definition yet, you’re certainly missing out. Combine an HD television with a quality sound system to optimize your viewing experience and you might as well be in the stadium yourself.
You might think that state of the art televisions these days cost more money than they’re worth, but you’d be surprised. In fact, a 42” LG LCD TV online at Very.co.uk can be bought for as little as £399; that’s a massive saving of £80 from previous prices. High definition, naturally, comes as standard, so it’s never been easier or cheaper to bring the best viewing experience into your living room. These TVs are also slimmer, lighter and much more stylish than conventional plasmas.
Some sports stations have now started to broadcast in 3D. If you buy a television with 3D compatibility, your viewing will become all the more visceral as the inevitable round of English penalties comes beamed directly to you (and at you) on your sofa.
Shop for TVs at Very to see an extensive range of televisions; from small portable screens to 60” monsters, you’ll be able to find the set to suit you and your living room.
Whatever happens this summer, make sure you properly support our boys from the comfort of your own home with a brand new, state of the art TV. It’s likely to involve ecstatic euphoria and soul-destroying, crushing failure but – when the dust settles on the Euros and England inevitably return home with sorry excuses and an upside down smile – at least you’ll have a fantastic TV to get you through the pain.

I like LG LCD HDTV. That’s best price for HDTV. I will watch football games from my HDTV.

Euro 2012 is a good enough reason to buy a brand new TV. But Wayne Rooney has proved time and again to be a big match failure, so if you are an English supporter like me, it would be better to invest more in the TV than in the team ..
